The Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel is under new management as the hotel changes its name from the Hilton Grosvenor.   

Hospitality trade groups have blasted the Scottish Government’s decision to keep trading restrictions in place for at least another week, saying there is “no justification” for the ongoing measures.

Physical distancing between groups and a requirement for table service will remain in place in hospitality venues until at least 24th January, the first minister has announced.

Nightclubs are to close from 27th December for at least three weeks, the Scottish Government has announced.

Grants of up to £6800 for bars, restaurants and nightclubs have been announced by first minister Nicola Sturgeon as she again advised the public to minimise socialising and confirmed table service and physical distancing measures will come in on 27th December.
