HOSPITALITY Rising, the industry recruitment campaign aiming to help fill 400,000 vacancies across the UK, has moved closer to its £5 million fundraising goal with the signing of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) as an official partner.

The campaign, formed last year by former Pret a Manger and Yo! Sushi marketer, Mark McCulloch, has already secured the backing of several hospitality companies and groups, including Buzzworks and DRG as well as UK Hospitality. However, CCEP is the first supplier to support the initiative.

“We are delighted to have such a well-known supplier like CCEP pledge its support to the Hospitality Rising campaign,” said McCulloch.

“This campaign is truly flourishing thanks to all the incredible support being received across the industry, and we will continue to drive home the message that hospitality is a great industry to work in.

“Our investors back our vision to help stop the recruitment crisis once and for all and I have no doubt that we will be able to reach that goal with the support we have, and will continue to call for, as the campaign edges closer to its fundraising goal.”

Pat Humphries, on-premise associate director at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, said: “This will be one of the most ambitious industry recruitment campaigns and one we are proud to be named as the first official platform supplier partner for Hospitality Rising.

“This campaign is vital to bolstering the hospitality industry, changing perceptions and creating a pipeline of people that are passionate about a career in the sector.

“It’s essential that industry come together now to overcome the challenges that are currently being faced. We look forward to the launch of the campaign in the coming months.”
