Star Pubs & Bars, the Heineken-owned pub company, has announced that it will reduce rent for its Scottish tenants and lessees for the duration of any COVID restrictions.

Cru Holdings, the SLTN Award-winning hospitality group, has expanded its portfolio with the addition of Inverness bar and restaurant The White House.

The Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel is under new management as the hotel changes its name from the Hilton Grosvenor.   

Hospitality trade groups have blasted the Scottish Government’s decision to keep trading restrictions in place for at least another week, saying there is “no justification” for the ongoing measures.

The self-isolation period for those who test positive for COVID in Scotland can be cut to seven days from midnight tonight (5th January) – providing that person has no fever and records two negative lateral flow tests (LFTs), first minister Nicola Sturgeon has announced.

Members of the Scottish licensed trade have until 17th January to submit their views on aspects of the upcoming Scottish Pubs Code.
