AN Ayrshire hotel is turning to its locals and customers to help name its new restaurant and cocktail lounge.
Seamill Hydro Hotel in West Kilbride is currently in the process of expanding its existing restaurant through the conversion of the hotel’s Arran Suite. The project will see the restaurant expanded from 120 to 180 covers, adjoined by a new cocktail lounge.
And ahead of the relaunch of the space the hotel, which is owned by independent operator the RAD Hotel Group, is looking for suggestions from the public for a new name. People can make suggestions via the hotel’s Instagram page or over email (marketing@rad.ltd.uk).
The person who provides the winning name will win a dinner for two every month for a year so the stakes (or possibly steaks) are high.
Aaron Kyle, the company’s sales and marketing director, said: “At RAD, we’re passionate about creating warm, memorable spaces where people can relax, reconnect, and enjoy great Scottish hospitality and service.
“This new restaurant and cocktail bar is our latest investment in that vision, and we want the people of Ayrshire to help us give it the perfect name.”
RAD’s other properties include the Dalmeny Park House Hotel in Barrhead, the Lochside House Hotel in New Cumnock, the Brig o’ Doon House Hotel in Alloway and Hetland Hall Hotel in Dumfries.
