A NEW flavour is set to join the Sourz range this September, having been chosen by consumers in an online vote.
Sourz Spirited Toffee Apple was chosen by Facebook users via an interactive “Sourz Flavour Generator”, which offered visitors to the site the chance to generate ideas for new flavours.
The Facebook activity also helped select the packaging for the new flavour.
Fans were given a choice of two different designs which, according to distributor Maxxium UK, “capture the fun, lively and dynamic characteristics” of the brand.
The Spirited Toffee Apple variant is said to be the first flavour in the range which is not based solely on fruit.
It will be launched in selected bars, as well as in Tesco stores, from September.

“Agreeing this exclusive initiative with Tesco and selected on-trade customers reflects our commitment to innovation and customer development.
