Scottish brewer Innis & Gunn took centre stage at last weekend’s Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival in the Highlands.
The brewer was the headline beer supplier to the three-day event, which is held in Beauly, near Inverness and attracts around 25,000 people, with its Lager, Session IPA and Mangoes on the Run beers all making appearances.
Prior to the festival, Innis & Gunn had given Inverness locals the chance to win tickets to the event by visiting participating bars around the city, sharing an image of Innis & Gunn Lager on Instagram and tagging the brand.
The festival itself saw the brand hosting the Beer Garden Games, where festival-goers could participate in a variety of old school sports day-style games.
Innis & Gunn founder and master brewer, Dougal Sharp, said the festival is ‘a unique and eclectic event that brings together the local community and attracts visitors from all over the UK and further afield in the heart of the Scottish Highlands’.
“This is the first time we’ve got involved and proud to be the headline beer sponsor,” he said.
“It’s brilliant, original and brings people together with music and events so right up our street because we’ve long been associated with the arts and culture.
“And this summer is no exception, we’ve got a huge programme of sponsorships and events underway.
“Our brand’s originality is not only rooted in our beer but it’s through these kinds of sponsorships from community grassroots activations to headline events such as The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.”
