Time running out to enter Jägermeister’s Meister Hunter

BARTENDERS only have a few days left to enter this year’s Jägermeister Meister Hunter cocktail competition.

Entries for the 2023 contest close on Monday (10th July), with regional heats then taking place across the UK. A Scottish heat will take place in Glasgow during September.

To enter, bartenders should submit a recipe containing at least 25ml of their chosen Jägermeister product (Jägermeister, Jägermeister Cold Brew or Jägermeister Manifest) and up to five other ingredients (not including garnish).

The recipe should be posted on Instagram before 10th July along with a video or image, tagging the Meister Hunter page (@meisterhunter) and using the hashtag #meisterhunter23.

Semi-finalists will then be invited to compete in one of the regional heats, leading to the grand final in London later in the year.

The first place winner will take home £3000, with second place taking £1000 and third place £500.

Mast-Jägermeister UK brand ambassador, Florian Beuren, said the competition ‘is about changing the perception of bartenders as it showcases Jägermeister from a different angle’. “Most people know Jägermeister as a shot, which is what we are, but a lot of people don’t know that Jägermeister is a fantastic mixing spirit which is super versatile and adds layers of flavour to drinks and cocktails due to its 56 botanicals,” said Beuren.
