Inverness ‘sett’ for Jimmy Badgers

INVERNESS operator Don Lawson is ‘sett’ to open a new venue in the city.

Lawson, who opened Johnny Foxes on Bank Street in Inverness in 1997 and added adjacent late night venue The Den in 2008, will launch Jimmy Badgers on the city’s Church Street tomorrow (19th May).

Described as a ‘gin and fizz’ bar, Jimmy Badgers will offer an “extensive selection of premium wines, Champagnes, Proseccos” alongside a carefully-curated range of spirits and cocktails created by the venue’s three mixologists.

Lawson said he is “excited for the opportunity to add something new and original to Inverness”.

“It’s our goal to provide an experience that not only speaks to the local population but tourists too,” he said.

“We wish to build upon the mystique and allure of our great city’s nightlife through creating good food, a fantastic drinks selection, and we aim to provide a positive feel-good vibe by way of our mood lighting and sound system. There is a mixture of boujee, Art Deco and the Prohibition era in our interior design.”
