Glasgow nightclub Campus scooped the top accolade in this year’s Best Bar None Scotland Awards when it was crowned National Champion.
The venue was also one of five to pick up the new Platinum Award, introduced to the responsible retailing scheme to recognise “continuous excellence”.
A raft of pubs picked up prizes across a further ten categories at the awards, which took place at the Hilton in Glasgow. Winners included The Crystal Palace – Pub, The Croft Bar – Independent Bar, The Garage – Innovation in Social Responsibility, The Waggon Inn – Independent Pub,The Queens Head Hotel – Hotel Bar, Glenmavis Tavern –Bar, Corn Exchange – SEV (Specialist Entertainment Venue), and the Fountain Bar – Newcomer.
The Heart of the Community award went to both Tartan Rose in Renfrewshire and Behind the Wall in Falkirk.
Now Glasgow operators have a fresh chance to gain recognition for responsible retailing.
The Glasgow Best Bar None Awards initiative launches on April 19 at the Grand Central. The launch event will include a number of speakers and four industry workshops.
