GLENTURRET Distillery has launched a rare 29 year old single cask malt dedicated to a retired cooper.
The Glenturret Jamieson’s Jigger Edition was released to honour Michael Jamieson, who served the Scotch whisky industry for 44 years.
The 29 year old whisky was filled on November 20, 1987, in a repaired cask that would have once passed through the Clyde Cooperage in Addiewell, when Jamieson was at the height of his career. Just 170 bottles of the cask strength single malt whisky have been released.
Jamieson said he is “honoured to have been given this special dedication” from Glenturret Distillery.
