The Glenturret Cameron’s Cut is a 29 year old cask strength single malt which was filled on November 20, 1987. Tasting notes describe the dram as having a well balanced nose, a spicy palate with lavender notes and a lingering, slightly dry finish with a “hint of oak”.
Only 209 bottles of the limited edition dram have been made available for purchase via a ballot which will close at midnight on December 10.
Neil Cameron said it is “really quite an honour to have this latest special edition dedicated to me”.
“I’ve worked in this industry for 40 years and have spent 20 of them as Glenturret Distillery manager,” he said.
“It’s a job in which I take great pride.
“Although I wasn’t at Glenturret when it was filled, this is a rare 29 year old cask made using the same techniques we still use today and it’s a very fine dram.”
