One of the most well-kent faces in the Scotch whisky industry is preparing to mark 50 years in the business with a worldwide tour.
Richard Paterson, nicknamed ‘The Nose’, is master blender at Whyte & Mackay and master distiller of single malt The Dalmore.
To mark the milestone, Paterson will host a series of tastings around the world, where he will showcase a number of bottles, including The Dalmore Paterson Collection and The Dalmore Quintessence.
“With a unique flair and unwavering passion for developing only the finest whisky, Richard continues to be a driving force in the industry,” said Whyte & Mackay chief executive, Bryan Donaghey. “Watching Richard work with The Dalmore is inspiring, and we are privileged to be able to help him celebrate such an important milestone in his career.”
