Scottish beers in spotlight

SCOTTISH beers were firmly in the spotlight last month as part of a special celebration at the Scottish Office in London.
More than 40 different brews were featured at the event, which gave MPs and guests the chance to sample beers from across Scotland. Guests also heard from Andrew Griffiths MP on behalf of the Parliamentary Beer Group and Gerald Michaluk, representing the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA), who spoke of the “great opportunity for Scottish beers in the global market”.
