Coronavirus: CAMRA supports Edinburgh and south east businesses.

THE Edinburgh and South East Scotland branch of consumer group CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale) has launched a new online service in a bid to support pubs and breweries during the coronavirus lockdown period.

A new section of the organisation’s website (www.edinburghcamra.org.uk/covid19/) features breweries and venues in the Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian and Scottish Borders regions which are currently offering home delivery or takeaway services.

CAMRA’s national website also features a link to a virtual pub set up by the group as part of its #PullingTogether campaign, which it launched with the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) and online fundraising business Crowdfunder. Visitors to The Red (On)Lion pub can participate in group video conferences, pub quizzes and other online activities.
