Crerar Hotels’ Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa has scooped one of the top honours at The World Travel Awards, claiming the title of ‘Scotland’s Leading Hotel’.
Inveraray’s only four-star hospitality venue, the Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa offers luxurious rooms and suites, alongside exceptional dining at the AA Rosette-awarded Cladach Mòr Bistro, making it popular with visitors exploring the West Coast and surrounding area
The hotel, led by general manager Niall O’Shaughnessy, has recently benefitted from a £765,000 investment in its facilities, culminating in the launch of the luxury Shore Spa.
O’Shaughnessy said: “It is an honour to win the title of Scotland’s Leading Hotel at the World Travel Awards this year, especially after being shortlisted alongside some of Scotland’s finest hotels.

“The World Travel Awards brand is recognised worldwide as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence, so I’m thrilled my team’s hard work has paid off.
“We are committed to creating exceptional experiences for every guest who walks through our doors, and this achievement reflects the care and attention my colleagues bring to everything they do,” he said.
“I would like to thank my team for their continued commitment, as well as our guests for their ongoing support. This award is a fantastic milestone for the hotel, and we look forward to building on this success.”
Loch Fyne has won a variety of awards over the past few years, including ‘Best Country Hotel’ at the Scotland Prestige Awards, and ‘Rural Spa of the Year’ at the Hotel of the Year Scotland Awards.
