Vegan lobby group, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, has placed Glasgow’s Bloc+ in its UK-wide Top Ten Vegan Chicken Picks list.
Bloc+ specifically made the list for its Vegan Korean Seitan Burger – topped with sweet and spicy Gochujang sauce – but the underground music venue is well-known for the extensive vegan selection it offers alongside its conventional menu.
“From saucy burgers to crispy vegan tenders, every winner on PETA’s list is serving up seriously satisfying vegan chicken that’s full of flavour and free from suffering,” said PETA vice president Dawn Carr.
“PETA is encouraging everyone to leave birds in peace, not pieces, by ordering delicious, kind meals that rule the roost.”
