One of Scotland’s most beloved dining destinations, The Seafood Ristorante on St Andrews Bay, is marking its 20th anniversary this month with the launch of a new menu celebrating beloved dishes from the restaurant’s first two decades.
First opened in 2004, the seafront establishment is arguably the foundation stone upon which the Fife coastal town’s foodie reputation has since been built, frequently cited for its pioneering use of high-quality, locally sourced seafood, and innovative Italian-influenced culinary techniques.

With the added attraction of panoramic views out to sea from its all-glass dining area, The Seafood Ristorante has become a must-visit destination for food lovers, from both home and abroad.

The 20th anniversary ‘Icons’ menu, curated by executive chef Davy Aspin and his team, revisits past highlights like Anstruther Lobster Linguine, a dish using locally sourced lobster from a dedicated East Neuk boat; Baked Orkney Scallop, a long-time customer favourite enhanced with an Asian dressing; Steamed Day Boat Halibut with mussel and butter tartare sauce; North Sea Turbot with a rich chicken butter sauce; and a one-of-a-kind Tiramisu to round off the experience.

“It’s important to celebrate and recognise such a significant milestone,” said owner Stefano Pieraccini. “This anniversary is not just about looking back at our history, but also embracing our future.
“The ‘Icons’ menu allows us to honour the dishes that have defined us while continuing to innovate and evolve. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating 20 years of a truly special restaurant.”
The restaurant’s 20th anniversary celebrations will run from February 2025 to mid-April, but there will be exclusive dining experiences throughout the year.
Listed on The Michelin Guide, The Seafood Ristorante remains committed to sustainability, sourcing the freshest ingredients, and ‘delivering an exceptional hospitality experience to every guest’.
