Buzzworks makes music in Troon

BUZZWORKS Holdings is preparing to open the doors of a new venue in Troon.

The Fox will launch in the coming weeks and is described by the company as a “casual live music bar” on the site of the former Papi Milano restaurant.

The 160-cover venue will showcase sport and live music throughout the week – including a golf simulator which customers will be able to book time on – and open late at weekends. There will be an “eclectic food offering” that ranges from crispy buttermilk wings to Korean BBQ chicken bowls.

Buzzworks claims the venue will also be the only the second in Ayrshire to sell unpasteurised tank beer – the first being the company’s Vic’s venue in Prestwick.

The 20-strong team at The Fox will be headed by operations manager Johnny Blair (pictured).

He said: “We’re proud to be investing once again in Troon, not only creating a further 20 jobs in Ayrshire, but bringing another exciting venue to the area.

“It has been a unique project to work on and we can’t wait to officially open the doors and welcome our first customers to The Fox, our modern take on your local friendly pub.”

The Fox will bring the company’s estate up to 14 venues.
