INDEPENDENT hospitality group the Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels has recruited new general managers for two of its hotels.
Ken Buchanan has been appointed general manager at the company’s Isles of Glencoe Hotel while Chris Hazelton takes the reins at the Ballachulish Hotel.
Buchanan joins the company with three decades of managerial experience and will be tasked with positioning the Isles of Glencoe as a family resort with a strong watersports offer, while Hazelton was most recently head of food and beverage at The Rookery in Carnoustie. He takes the helm at the Ballachulish Hotel following a £1.3 million refurbishment of the property.
The Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels operates eight hotels across Scotland, including Crieff Hydro and Murraypark Hotel in Crieff, Peebles Hydro and The Park Hotel in Peebles, Taypark House in Dundee and Kingshouse Hotel in Glencoe.
