CAMPBELTOWN gin maker Beinn an Tuirc – producer of Kintyre Gin – has launched its own gin school.
The facility, at Torrisdale Castle Estate, can accommodate up to 12 people a session, offering a three and a half hour tutorial that allows attendees to blend their own gin.
“We’re extremely excited to launch the Kintyre Gin School and share our love of gin to everyone,” said director Emma Hall.
“It’s been a difficult year for local businesses, but we’ve worked hard in the background to build the school from scratch, and it’s rewarding to see it all come together.
“We’re offering an unforgettable experience for gin fans to create a delicious spirit, as well as seeing behind-the-scenes of our sustainable production process that makes our gin so great, and we’re thrilled to open in time for restrictions easing.”
The gin school sessions are priced at £85 per-person, which includes a three and a half hour class (which includes the opportunity to create cocktails and perfect serves with the guest’s gin), two 20cl bottles of bespoke spirit, a gin school glass and a graduation certificate.
