BARTENDERS are being challenged to get creative as the family-owned Glenfarclas distillery launches its 105 Cask Strength cocktail competition.
The contest challenges entrants to create a new signature serve for the distillery’s Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength expression. The cocktail must use a maximum of six ingredients and incorporate the theme of ‘family, community and independently sourced ingredients’.
Bartenders can enter by submitting a video of themselves making their cocktail, and their knowledge, presentation skills and cocktail-making technique will all be factored in to their entry.
Competitive heats will then be held in Glasgow, Manchester and London in June before a grand final in Edinburgh on 1st July.
The winner will receive a two-day visit to the distillery and a limited edition bottle of Glenfarclas.
