New appointments as group prepares for reopening

CRERAR Hotels has bolstered its team as it looks ahead to reopening in the coming months.

The group, whose seven-strong portfolio comprises Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa, Thainstone House, Oban Bay Hotel, Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa, Golf View, The Glencoe Inn and Deeside Inn, has appointed Alison MacLeod as group marketing manager and Jodie Wilson as group revenue manager. Alison joins Crerar Hotels from Trump Turnberry Resort and brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector from across the UK and around the world, including eight years in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with Marriott International; while Jodie has more than 15 years of experience in the hotel and leisure industry, having worked for the likes of Macdonald Hotels, Marriott International, the Midland Hotel in Manchester.

The appointments come as Crerar Hotels carries out major refurbishments of its Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa and Glencoe Inn properties.

Chris Wayne-Wills, chief executive of Crerar Hotels, said Alison and Jodie will be “instrumental in ensuring that the hotels and packages are perfectly suited to meet the needs of post-lockdown guests”.
