Can-do approach to mental health

Two brothers have teamed up with Aberdeen-based craft brewer Fierce Beer to create a new brew – Fitlikey – in a bid to raise funds for local mental health services.

Neil Leiper and John Kidd, who have both had personal struggles with their mental health, founded the north east non-profit organisation after they felt the services offered in the region were not keeping up with demand for professional support.

Fitlikey is described as a 4.2% ABV pilsner which “has a crisp, clean flavour profile with a little sweetness”.

All profits from the beer will go towards funding mental health services in the Aberdeen area, with the ultimate goal of reducing waiting times and providing support and care for individuals requiring assistance with their mental health.
