PEDAL power had raised more than £2300 for licensed trade charity the Ben as SLTN went to press.
‘Uncle Bob’s Sportif’ saw a team from across the trade cycle an 82-mile circuit from the Ben’s estate in Pitlochry to Blair Athol Distillery earlier this month. This year’s fundraising efforts will be added to the £10,000 Bob Taylor and a team of fundraisers have raised in the past two years.
Chris Gardner, chief executive of the Ben, said: “A great day was had by the cyclists and support team in Pitlochry and the surrounding area raising funds for the Ben on an 82-mile trek.
“Thanks to the sponsors Amstel, Inverarity Morton, Nixon and all who participated.”
