TWO Dundee pubs have been earmarked for investment by Star Pubs & Bars.
The Heineken-owned pubco is set to spend £300,000 revamping The Mercantile on Commercial Street to create a “contemporary, upmarket, industrial-looking bar”, while The Gunner’s Bar in Broughty Ferry is in line for a £200,000 refurbishment to transform it into a “dynamic, urban bar”.
The two projects are part of a claimed £4 million investment by Heineken in its Star Pubs & Bars estate in Scotland this year.
