SWEDISH cider maker Kopparberg is taking aim at the sparkling wine category with two new rosé ciders.
Launching initially in the off-trade, the new 7% ABV Sparkling Rosé ciders are available in two variants – Strawberry and Raspberry. The new ciders follow the launch, last summer, of the firm’s five-litre KopparKeg.
Packaged in a 750ml bottle, Kopparberg Sparkling Rosé cider is said to be best served in a Champagne flute with a complementary fruit garnish.
Rob Salvesen, senior marketing manager at Kopparberg, said: “The success of our KopparKeg demonstrated that fruit cider drinkers are increasingly looking for propositions that can be shared and enjoyed with friends and family.
“That’s why we’re excited to be adding Sparkling Rosé to our range.”
