SCOTTISH multiple operator Buzzworks Holdings has again been named in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For.
The Prestwick-based operator made it into the top 100 Sunday Times list in 2016 and has since climbed 24 places, being ranked at 40 in the 2017 list.
Run by siblings Alison, Colin and Kenny Blair – who jointly won the SLTN Industry Achievement Award last November – Buzzworks currently operates nine venues and employs more than 440 people.
Kenny said that making it onto the list for a second year running is “a momentous achievement”.
“Our people are everything and we are proud of our family-like environment, with staff of all ages working together in close-knit teams to provide world class hospitality to our customers,” he said.
Having recently announced its first venture outside of its Ayrshire heartland – The Coach House, due to open this summer in Bridge of Weir – Buzzworks’ has announced further investment in its portfolio, with a £500,000 refurbishment of its seafront restaurant, Scotts of Troon.
Work is already underway, with the renovations including a new ‘state-of-the-art’ kitchen and a design refresh featuring light tones and woods.
The restaurant will reopen to the public on March 10.
