THE Argyll & Sutherland bar in Greenock has been transformed thanks to a six-figure investment by pub company Punch Taverns.
The £125,000 project saw the pub’s exterior revamped and fitted with new signage and the beer garden refurbished.
Inside, the pub was completely redecorated with work including the creation of a new back-bar as well as new furniture, carpets, blinds and curtains.
Publican Steven Bremner (pictured left with local MSP Stuart McMillan), said: “The pub looks fantastic and opening night was a great success with many of the local community attending to raise a glass to their newlook pub.”
MSP Stuart McMillan said: “Local pubs are often the fabric of our communities. The Argyll & Sutherland refurbishment is a welcome addition to Greenock.”
