STAFF members from drinks firm Pernod Ricard rolled up their sleeves and tested their gardening skills recently when they volunteered to help out licensed trade charity The Ben.
The team of Chris McGovern, Fiona Marshall, John Ainsley and Luke Crighton gave up their free time to help tidy the gardens at The Ben’s Pitlochry estate.
The property, which consists of 18 bungalows, provides accommodation for members of the trade, both retired and currently-employed.
Ben chief executive Chris Gardner said: “It’s always brilliant to see members of the licensed trade proactively engage with The Ben and we’re very grateful to the Pernod Ricard UK team for giving up their time to help on the estate.
“I know the residents are particularly pleased with the work they’ve done and appreciate the support shown by one of the industry’s biggest companies.”
The team volunteered as part of Pernod Ricard’s annual Responsib’All Day initiative, which sees all 18,000 of the company’s employees give up a day to help local charities.
