THE Rio Olympics, which officially kicks off on August 5th, provided the inspiration for the latest limited edition beer from Edinburgh’s Caledonian Brewery.
Road to Rio is a golden ale which is described as being “rich in soft fruit aromas with a generous hint of lemon and a gentle maIt finish”.
“Available to the on-trade throughout the competition, Road to Rio is the perfect complement to the variety of sport we’ve got ahead of us,” said Craig Steven, Caledonian’s beers manager.
