An Indian restaurant in Falkirk has changed hands in a deal brokered by licensed property agents Bruce & Co.
The Taj Mahal, which is said to occupy a prime trading position in the town centre, was sold on behalf of Mohammed Sabir, who has owned the business since 1999 and now plans to retire from the trade.
Set across two floors, the property comprises a 60-cover dining area, a bar and a fully-equipped kitchen.
Lucy Doherty of Bruce & Co said new owner Rachadaporn Chimmajcha, who acquired the leasehold for an undisclosed sum, intends to turn the Taj Mahal into a Thai restaurant.
