Ellon’s Station Hotel is on the market in Aberdeenshire

The Station Hotel in Ellon

AN Aberdeenshire hotel dating from the early 1890s has come onto the books of Bruce & Co.

The Station Hotel in Ellon is said to have been extended and refurbished several times during its lifetime and now boasts 16 ensuite letting bedrooms, public lounge bar, games room and a function suite, as well as a 30-cover restaurant.

The hotel is described as being close to various cultural sites and attractions, including the ruins of Ellon Castle and the nearby BrewDog brewery, as well as the River Ythan, which boasts a variety of local wildlife, including herons, otters, salmon and trout.

Bruce & Co said the hotel is ‘set in a truly beautiful location’ and ‘offers the opportunity for growth and expansion to meet visitor and tourist demands’.
