A historic pub in Linlithgow is for sale with a price tag of £1 million.
The Star & Garter stood empty for two years after the property was devastated by fire in 2010.
The current owners rebuilt the property and are said to have created a “modern, stylish and versatile hotel” which reopened for business in 2013.
Located next to the railway station, the property comprises a bar, dining area, function room, five letting rooms and a coffee shop.
It is being sold for offers over £1m and is expected to appeal to corporate and private buyers.
Derek Burgoyne, director of Cornerstone Business Agents in Edinburgh, who is handling the sale, described the standard of the rebuilt hotel as “very impressive”.
He added: “The Star & Garter has served the local community for 250 years and is now ready and equipped to serve present day customers to a high standard.”
