Training and e-learning provider CPL Online has developed a programme of five staff training courses for Italian restaurant chain Bella Italia.
The ‘Being Bella Hearted’ training programme has been custom-built for Bella Italia and uses much of the company’s own imagery and phrasing.
It consists of five individual courses: Ciao Bella, a three-module course which emphasises the importance of making a good first impression on a customer; Making Friends, covering techniques for building customer relationships; Blessed by the Chef, which builds staff knowledge of the company’s dishes and ingredients; Treat Time, a four-module course covering up-selling; and Ciao for Now, a course focusing on the importance of how the customer leaves the restaurant and the impact it can have on their experience of the brand.
CPL Online managing director, David Dasher, described the programme as “hugely engaging and an excellent way to deliver the important Bella Italia messages to its employees”.
Bella Italia operates restaurants across the UK, including venues in Dunfermline and Edinburgh.
