A City centre bar in Glasgow will celebrate a decade in business tomorrow (August 21) when it hosts a party for its customers and suppliers.
The Butterfly and The Pig, on Bath Street, was opened by Michele Pagliocca in August 2005. In January this year the brand was expanded into Glasgow’s south side with the opening of a sister outlet in Shawlands.
“We are delighted to be celebrating ten years and what better way to recognise this fantastic milestone than with a birthday bash to thank our staff, customers, suppliers and performers for their ongoing support,” said Pagliocca.
“During our ten years in operation we have experienced some difficult times, with things like the smoking ban, competitive pricing from bigger chains and the credit crunch.
“Despite this customers keep coming back to The Butterfly and The Pig – and for that loyalty I am extremely grateful.”
