East Ayrshire inn is for sale

THE Thack Inn near Kilmarnock has been put on the market after being run by the same family for 19 years.

The business is said to be in a “profitable trading location” in the village of Hurlford, East Ayrshire, and has an asking price of £245,000 for the freehold.

Graeme Smith, of Smith & Clough Business Associates, said the business would be suited to either a private multiple operator or a family-run operation seeking an established and profitable pub.

He said: “Included in the sale are two self-contained flats, which both have separate access from the private pub car park to the rear of the property.

“Both the flats are currently let and make for an additional investment for any new owner.”
