A KILMARNOCK pub has been relaunched following a root and branch refurbishment.

Stonegate Pub Company spent a claimed £250,000 revamping the First Edition on Bank Street before reopening the doors late last month.
The pub has been fully redecorated inside and out to give it, what Stonegate described as, a “lighter, brighter feel with new furniture, flooring, artwork and signage”.
The offer at the First Edition was also overhauled. The pub now opens at 9am from Monday to Saturday to serve breakfast, its cask ale range has been expanded, and a new menu, featuring dishes such as Cumberland sausage and mash and the Towering Inferno burger, introduced.
Manager William Wallace said the new-look pub has been well-received since it opened.
“It’s a significant investment so our customers are going to notice a big difference,” he said.
“The pub looks spectacular and feedback has been fantastic from customers.”
