A FRESH bid to highlight the argument in support of minimum pricing in Brussels earlier this month has been hailed a success by the chief executive of the Scottish Licensed Trade Association.
Paul Waterson joined C&C Group marketing director Paul Bartlett and representatives from Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems (SHAAP) and the Scottish Government to address the seminar which ran alongside the annual congress of the European Public Health Association.
“I believe it was very successful,” said Waterson.
“It showed individuals from the health lobby and the industry working together on a common aim and sharing a platform at an important event. And it showed that the whole of the industry is not against minimum pricing.”
