Cullen hotel and Irvine bar for sale through Shepherd
A VILLAGE hotel on the Moray Firth coast is up for sale.
The Seafield Arms Hotel in Cullen has 26 en suite letting bedrooms comprising a mix of single, twin, double and family rooms.
The property comprises a public bar, lounge bar with adjacent patio area, meeting rooms and an open-plan dining area and restaurant; there’s also self-contained, three-bedroom owner’s accommodation and a further one-bedroom staff apartment.
James Morrison, surveyor at Shepherd, which is marketing the hotel at offers over £490,000, said the property is located off the A98 coastal route close to Buckie, Banff, Macduff and Fraserburgh.
“Seafield Arms Hotel represents a rare opportunity for an hotelier to secure premises on the attractive north coast of Moray,” he said.
Shepherd is also marketing a large community pub in Irvine.
Currently closed and said to be partially fitted, the Village Inn is located in the Bourtreehill area to the east of the town centre.
The 5000 sq ft property comprises a lounge bar, public bar and extensive basement cellarage.
“The Village Inn is a large neighbourhood public house which is around 35 years old,” said Kevin Bell, associate at Shepherd’s Ayr office.
“Available at a competitive price, it will appeal to anyone interested in a licensed trade opportunity in north Ayrshire.”
Offers over £30,000 are sought for the Village Inn, which is held on ground lease from the local authority.
