JAPANESE whisky giant Suntory has released two new seasonal cocktails to usher in the spring season.
The Yamazaki Risshun combines Yamazaki 12 year old single malt with Ume honey and Japanese plum liqueur, while the Hakushu Usui mixes Hakushu 12 year old single malt whisky with violet cordial, rose water and orange blossom water.
The two serves are the latest in Suntory’s series of seasonal cocktails, which coincide with the 24 seasons of the Japanese calendar.
Suntory is the parent company of the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Hibiki brands as well as the owner of Scotch whisky company Morrison Bowmore, which in turn owns the Bowmore, Auchentoshan and Glen Garioch distilleries.
