JOSE Cuervo Tequila is being promoted as an ice cold shot this summer as part of a new marketing campaign for the brand.
The activity will see a branded truck visit selected outlets offering consumers a chance to sample ice cold Jose Cuervo.
Diageo is investing a claimed £1.5 million in the campaign, which will also include in-outlet ‘ice cold challenges’ and product giveaways.
It will be supported with promotional point of sale material, including branded freezers, shot glasses, cocktail shakers and bar runners.
“The ice cold shot serve fits perfectly within the on-trade environment and this activity really brings it to life,” said assistant brand manager Manuel Montes.
“The experiential activity will drive excitement around the brand as well as increasing rate of sale by encouraging sampling amongst consumers already in outlet and driving additional footfall.”
