Marking the return of the Commonwealth Games to Glasgow, several of the city’s top bars are collaborating with The Glasgow Distillery to present limited edition drinks menus showcasing the distillery’s portfolio of spirits.
Participating in this ‘Global Games, Glasgow Spirit’ campaign are Òran Mór, Howlin’ Wolf, Malone’s, Bag O’Nails and Cùl Cùil.

While aiming to promote The Glasgow Distillery’s ‘character-rich’ spirits, the campaign also hopes to celebrate the city’s vibrant bar community, during one of the biggest moments in Glasgow’s international calendar.
Alongside the serves, The Glasgow Distillery will be visiting each participating venue throughout the Commonwealth Games, sharing the stories behind the bars, the people who make them special and what Glasgow means to them through a series of short films and social content.

Marketing executive at Glasgow Distillery, Libby Barmby, said: “Glasgow has such an incredible hospitality scene and this felt like the perfect opportunity to celebrate it.
“We’ve loved spending time with each of the venues involved, hearing what they love about the city and seeing the creativity they’ve brought to their own serves using our spirits.
“For us, this campaign is about much more than showcasing our products. It’s about championing the people and places that make Glasgow such a brilliant destination to visit,” said Barmby.

“Over the coming weeks we’ll also be sharing the stories behind the venues across our social channels, celebrating the personalities, passion and pride that make Glasgow’s bar scene so special.”
