As we approach the end of Margarita Month, Glasgow West End favourites, Five March and Rafa’s are joining forces for a closing party this coming Sunday, March 22.
The two are collaborating on a full day of ‘tacos, cocktails and good vibes’, rounded off with a DJ set from BEMZ and friends to extend the celebrations into the night.
For Margarita Month – which has taken root in Glasgow thanks to the involvement of Patron Tequila – Five March’s bar manager David Anderson has prepared a limited edition margarita menu, while the taco menu will include three dishes created by the Five March kitchen and three dishes created by Rafa’s.

Owner of Five March, Joanna Nethery, said: “The team and I are really excited to be throwing this party with our good friends and local legends, Rafa’s, and Patron for a Margarita Month closing party and especially excited to welcome them in for their first pop-up since announcing the closure of their Hidden Lane eatery.
“Both kitchen teams have brought their A-game with a taco menu full of fun and flavour, and with BEMZ and friends on the decks as the night kicks in, it’s shaping up to be a brilliant Sunday.
“Come hungry and come thirsty, this one’s going to be a lot of fun.”
Tacos on offer will include king prawns, chorizo and poblano crema made with charred peppers, lime, sour cream and garlic; grilled mushroom birria with hen of the woods and oyster mushrooms, consomme and Oaxacan cheese; and pulled lamb barbacoa with charred corn and Salsa Macha.
The event is walk-in only.
