THE team behind Glasgow restaurant Five March has taken up residence in city venue SWG3 with the opening of a new restaurant concept.
Go Sangatsu will specialise in sharing plates and Japanese cuisine and is located in SWG3’s Acid Bar.
It marks the first time in 18 months that the Acid Bar has opened its doors, and follows previous residencies from names including Ka Pao, Ox & Finch and Julie’s Kopitiam.
“We have a real love and respect for Japanese cuisine and as we sadly lack the generations of knowledge required to pay suitable homage, we won’t be offering a traditional menu but one inspired by foods we love,” said Five March co-founder, Joanna Nethery.
“Through this new venture, we can see what happens when we take all that we do know and smash it into the Five March style.
“Go Sangatsu leans towards the experimental so we can’t think of a better venue for it than the iconic Acid Bar.”
