Jackton invites its neighbours round for tours and live music

South Lanarkshire’s Jackton Distillery is inviting its wider community to join it for a special Local Appreciation Weekend kicking off this Friday.

The family-run Lowland distillery is offering a 2-for-1 Tour and Tasting experience to residents in the G74, G75, G76 and G77 postcodes, with tours running every hour from 11am to 4pm on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 March.

Designed to welcome its neighbours through the doors and showcase the distilling process, the weekend culminates on Saturday evening with Jackton Hoedown III, a live country music event at the distillery.

Founded by the Kean family, Jackton Distillery produces the RAER portfolio of spirits, including a single malt due for release in September 2026.

In recent years, the distillery has made a name for itself with intimate tours, seasonal events and a growing programme of community-led experiences.

Managing director Jaynie Kean said: “Local Appreciation Weekend is about inviting people in and showing them what we do.

“We’re proud of how the distillery has grown, and we want our neighbours to feel part of that journey.

“Whether it’s a tour, a gift for someone special, or joining us for the Hoedown, this weekend is a simple way of saying thank you and encouraging people to come back again.”

Tour spaces and Hoedown tickets can be booked here.
