Wine Events Scotland’s Fizz Feast Trade Preview is taking place on Friday 27 November at the Edinburgh Academy in central Edinburgh, with all proceeds from its ticket sales being donated to The Drinks Trust.
The preview opens the annual sparkling wine event to the trade for the first time this year, offering sommeliers, buyers, and independent retailers the opportunity to taste more than 75 sparkling wines under one roof, from Champagne, Prosecco, Cava and Crémant to English sparkling wine.
Diana Thompson, founder of Wine Events Scotland and Fizz Feast, said: “Times have been really tough for so many people in our industry, and The Drinks Trust’s work is vital in supporting those who need it most.
“We’re expecting over 100 trade professionals on the night, and we wanted to give them a chance to taste the breadth of the sparkling wine category closer to home while also making it a way to give something back.”
Nicky Burston, CEO of The Drinks Trust, added: “We are incredibly grateful to Diana Thompson and the entire Fizz Feast team for their generous support.
“Their commitment to giving back to colleagues across the drinks industry is truly commendable. Fizz Feast promises to be a fantastic event, and I encourage everyone in our industry to secure their tickets.”
Fizz Feast was founded in 2016 by Wine Events Scotland and is Scotland’s only sparkling wine festival.
This year’s event features more than 20 confirmed exhibitors including Hatch Mansfield, North South Wines, Loch & Vine, Alexander Wines, Vino Wines and The Ukrainian Wine Company, making it the biggest event to date.
