Nico Simeone’s new fire-led dining concept Lennox has officially opened in Edinburgh.

Following successful launches in Manchester and Glasgow, the restaurant on Queensferry Street in Edinburgh’s West End is the third – and for now final – opening in the brand’s inaugural expansion.

Located on what was previously a Six By Nico site, Lennox offers a new style of dining for Simeone, centred around open-fire cooking, premium ingredients and ‘the energy of a fully open kitchen’.

Inside, Lennox Edinburgh has an industrial-inspired dining room where raw materials, warm lighting and contemporary design are said to create a ‘sophisticated yet relaxed’ atmosphere.

At its heart is an open kitchen featuring custom-built barbecue grills and dry-ageing cabinets, allowing guests to witness the theatre of service from every seat.

The menu focuses on ‘timeless dishes reimagined through modern techniques’, with bold flavours, premium seasonal produce and generous sharing plates designed to bring people together.

Lennox’s philosophy is described as ‘instinctive cooking, where exceptional ingredients and fire take centre stage’.

The menu offers small plates, big plates, and house-dry-aged cuts, including dishes like lamb belly, dry-aged steaks and buffalo squid.

Simeone said: “Edinburgh has always held a special place in my career, so bringing Lennox here feels incredibly meaningful.

“This concept allows us to cook with complete freedom, focusing on incredible ingredients, bold flavours and creating an unforgettable experience for every guest.”

Simeone said that Lennox added a fresh culinary destination to the West End’s already thriving food and hospitality scene, evolving through the day from relaxed lunches and celebratory dinners to late-night dining, cocktails, and an impressive Sunday roast menu.
