Edinburgh’s Contini Restaurant Group has become the latest group member of Quality Meat Scotland’s Scotch Beef Club.
The Scotch Beef Club recognises and supports restaurants serving Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb, or Specially Selected Pork. Each member’s supply chain is thoroughly checked by QMS to ensure the beef served is genuinely Scotch.
Contini favourites Cannonball Restaurant & Bar, The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant, and Contini George Street will now prominently feature Scotch Beef across their city-centre menus.

Brands development manager at QMS, Gordon Newlands, said: “We are delighted to welcome the Contini Group to the Scotch Beef Club.
“Victor and Carina Contini’s commitment to Scottish agriculture is fantastic, and we’re excited to support them with marketing and technical advice, as well as listings on our ‘Make It Scotch’ website.”

The Continis commented: “Supporting local producers and serving outstanding quality beef is at the heart of what we do.
“Joining the Scotch Beef Club reflects our ongoing commitment to Scottish agriculture and our guests’ enjoyment of exceptional dining experiences.
“By sourcing beef from accredited suppliers, we not only ensure high quality but also support local farmers dedicated to sustainable practices.”
