Innis & Gunn beer gets a boost from pop superstar Justin Bieber

In a piece of positive publicity that money simply could not buy, pop superstar Justin Bieber has been pictured licking a bottle of Innis & Gunn beer while on a night out in St Andrews.

Bieber, on an informal golfing trip to Scotland with his entourage, has been sighted at various tourist spots over the last weekend – during which time his social media account posted a series of pics of him outside a St Andrew’s chip shop brandishing a beer.

Innis & Gunn founder and master brewer Dougal Sharp said: “I can’t bloody Beliebe it! It’s safe to say I didn’t expect to wake up this morning to see those pictures.

“I’m glad Justin seems to be enjoying our beers, just as many people around the world do.

“Our lager is proudly brewed in Scotland and, for an authentic experience during Justin’s visit, there really is no other option. He’s more than welcome in one of our taprooms for unlimited steak frites any time.”

Bieber’s Instagram post featuring the beer is currently sitting at 2.1million ‘likes’.

Innis & Gunn was recently named Scotland’s best lager at the World Beer Awards for the second year running.
