Funkin Cocktails has added watermelon and blue Raspberry flavours to its portfolio of mixers.
The company expects watermelon to be one of the trending fruit flavours of 2025, with a reported 37% of cocktail drinkers opting for this flavour of cocktail when out of home.
Meanwhile, blue raspberry is reportedly seeing a surge in appeal due to a growing trend of ‘90s and ‘00s nostalgia, especially amongst Gen Z consumers.
Described as ‘perfect for classic, signature and modern serves’, the pink-hued Watermelon Mixer provides juicy, sun-ripened watermelon with a touch of sweetness, while the Blue Raspberry Mixer provides sour, tangy notes with an electric blue liquid.

In frozen serves, the new mixers are ideal for crowd-pleasing slushies and appealing to those whose preference for margaritas is frozen.
Head of trade marketing at Funkin Cocktails, Shannon Kendall, said: “Since 1999, bartenders have turned to Funkin for our premium mixers, syrups and pureés to serve up delicious, hand-crafted cocktails with ease.
“We’re always searching for the next big flavours to add to our range, and with watermelon expected to soar in popularity this year and our Blue Raspberry Nitro Cans being a hit with our grocery consumers, we wanted to arm bars with the perfect ingredient to create high-quality cocktails in seconds – while still providing the full cocktail experience for their customers.

“Watermelon has been a flavour prevalent in the US drinks market for the last few years, so we’re excited to lead the way in the UK market. By expanding our range, we’re looking forward to arming the trade with the very best cocktail ingredients.”
